Point Blank Periodt (pointblankperiodt.com) is operated by Lyra Sha ("Lyra Sha," "we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
Information We Collect
- Tag Referral Contest: When you enter "Tag You're It," we collect your name and email address.
- Hot Takes / Community Chaos Submissions: When you submit a hot take or vote, we collect the message text you submit.
- Payments: If you send a digital card or make a donation, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number, Stripe handles that under its own privacy policy.
- Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to automatically collect standard usage data (pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location) when you visit the site.
Why We Collect It
- To run the Tag Referral Contest and notify the winner.
- To display community hot-takes submissions and track votes.
- To process card and donation payments.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Who We Share It With
- Convex, our database/backend provider, which stores contest entries and hot-takes submissions on our behalf.
- Stripe, our payment processor for card purchases and donations.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), for aggregated, anonymized site-usage statistics.
We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
How Long We Keep It
- Tag Referral Contest entries (name/email): kept until the contest ends and the winner is confirmed, then deleted within 90 days, unless needed longer for prize fulfillment records.
- Hot-takes/community submissions: kept as long as needed to run the community features.
- Analytics data: kept per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
- Payment data: not stored by us, handled entirely by Stripe.
Children's Privacy
Point Blank Periodt is a teen brand. The Tag Referral Contest is open to entrants age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@pointblankperiodt.com.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online system is 100% secure.
